An urgent-care office visit is a same-day or walk-in visit for patients with injuries that do not appear to be life threatening. Basic medical treatments are included in this visit, such as digital X-ray imaging, heart testing, eye wash, basic lab work, testing for a head injury, placement of stitches, and the removal of foreign objects from the body. If the office exam reveals the need for outside treatment or testing, this may result in added fees, which you will be notified of first. Outside imaging procedures such as MRIs and sonograms are not included.
