A pelvic laparoscopy with removal of lesions is a minimally-invasive surgical procedure where a tiny camera (laparoscope) is inserted into a small incision in the abdomen. The view from the camera assists the doctor in burning or cutting outlesions, tumors, or cysts from the ovaries, around the bladder, uterus, rectum, or the pelvic walls. This is a surgical option for treatment of endometriosis.
