MRI Scan (with & without contrast) in Kansas

$0 - $2,081
?

A MRI scan with and without contrast is an imaging procedure that uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to create pictures of a certain body part from several angles. The doctor takes one picture naturally and another after injecting gadolinium-based dye (contrast) into the veins to enhance the image quality and allow the doctor more accuracy and confidence in the diagnosis. After the completion of the imaging exam, either the body absorbs the contrast material, or it is eliminated through urine. Examination is for any one body part and includes the following:

  • abdomen (w & w/o contrast)
  • brain (w & w/o contrast)
  • chest (w & w/o contrast)
  • extremity lower joint—knee, ankle, mid/hindfoot, hip (w & w/o contrast)
  • extremity upper joint—shoulder, elbow, wrist (w & w/o contrast)
  • extremity upper—brachial plexus, scapula, humerus, forearm, hand (w & w/o contrast
  • orbit, face, neck (w & w/o contrast)
  • pelvis (w & w/o contrast)
  • spine cervical (w & w/o contrast)
  • spine lumbar (w & w/o contrast)
  • spine thoracic (w & w/o contrast)

If you need more than one body part scanned, you will need to purchase one MRI with and without for each.
