A knee arthroscopy (removal of foreign body) is a minimally-invasive surgical procedure to remove pieces of bone, cartilage, or other tissue that may have broken free and are floating within the knee joint. The surgeon makes several incisions in the knee to insert the camera to view the surgical area and to remove loose bodies.
