A Distal Radius Fracture (Broken Wrist) is a very common injury where the radius (bone in the forearm) is broken near the end of the bone, close to your hand. If your doctor determines that the bone can be set back in place without surgery, they will perform what is called a reduction and manually re-align the broken bones. Once the bones are back in place, your doctor will put a cast on the limb to keep it aligned while it heals.
Physician order required.
