A chest X-ray (2 views) is an imaging procedure that uses small electromagnetic waves to produces a picture of the structures in the chest, including the heart, blood vessels, lungs, bones, and fluid that may surround these organs. Two views are taken to get the best image of the chest's contents: one from the back and one from the side.
